| i have not written in this thing for suuuuch a long time! and it seems like the last three posts all have something similar to this first line....ANYWAYS...
i've had a pretty good summer. eventful. did a good amount of thinking...did waste a shitload of time...learned a lot, and had some good times and some bad times. all in all...its been a pretty good year. or sophomore year was. 2007 ain't over yet!! so here's a basic summer re-cap, i didn't really hang out with people too much...as much as i would've wanted. i did see jim 'n chris a couple times, Rob a good amount of times, other peoples here and there...but mostly i hung out with my bro. that was kool. we bummed it in ximeno a lot. played guitar hero. were lazy. ate a lot...i shoulda done more...maybe learned guitar. but watevs. i had ximeno all to myself for a week and a half...it was pretty nice...but lonely as well. i don't know anybody in Long Beach still. then i went on the mediterranean cruise. definitely good times. met some cool people, danced 'n shiet, ate great food, sang karoake, read some plays, saw beautiful places, and one day made a complete fool/ass of myself...ergh. but i guess chalk it up to experience, but i really wish i was past alla this lame shiet already. i'm gettin' too old!!
emm's wedding was awesome. got to see a lot of family like halle 'n max 'n some of the other babies...eventually i moved back to sb. livin' by myself has been awesome. very chill. sometimes lonely and quiet...but nice. it'll b an adjustment when javi's here. but i guess it'll also b nice to have someone 2 kick it with on the regular...even though i still kick it with claude a lot. good 2 get our space. let's see...i went home a lot...mom took away the credit card...went to marc's wedding which was kool but i still have mixed feelings about....had a good time the 2nd week but definitely an asshole move...voiceover class was really koool...too bad i won't b having michael morgan...and then the Tempest jes finished up. that was definitely a great experience...i feel like i learned a lot.
hmm im gonna organize this better later...

| sheesh. i haven't written in this thing since december?! i feel like so much has changed since now and then. its been a busy year... things seem to get more and more interesting! kinda. i guess jes livin' life.
i jes went on an mediterranean cruise for a week. it was very good times. i met some cool people and generally enjoyed myself, and i was able to see parts of italy. i guess a good way for me to recharge and get ready for wats ahead. kinda sounds all dramatic...but it makes me realize how much life is changing...

| i can't believe this quarter is practically already over. i can't believe Fiddler on the Roof is already over!! This shit is crazy...all that hard work...and now its done! I'm sad...and relieved...and worried because i have so much other work that needs to get done i can barely celebrate the awesomeness that was the show! i rocked it...i worked hard...and it paid off!
it was cool. i got a standing ovation at the end... more later...

| Damn man. It has been a long time since I've written in this thing. A lot has happened since then! I kept working after Hair finished, and my sister got married. That one is still a lil' bit weird to me. That wedding was so much fun, I'm very mad at myself for not bringing my camera. but ti was great to see so much of my family! out of 23 of us Tinio cousins, 19 were there! and then i got to see some of the new kids...it was great. we danced, we sang, all of us got drunk...it was a real nice wedding with some good times. the next day we had a pool party thing with the whole family at joelle's house. its crazy she's in college now!
so after that? i went up to SF twice. once w/ jess, and we just went up for a day but it was a really fun ride up. after that, i came back and stayed there for a week with Jay, which was also fun. i had pretty much free reign and i went around SF by myself at times, and got to see mich 'n tif. spent a lotttta money up there. and then after that, i just kept working on my audition monologue for auditioning for the bfa.
unfortunately...i didn't make it. i did my best though...I think a lot of it was just that i had the disadvantage of doing the 2nd audition. the program had already taken 14 guys and 5 girls, and last year's class had 26. there were about 25 of us that tried out...and the batch they took had a lot of girls in it. but its all good!
so after that...and gettin' back in school 'n movin' into the new dorm (which is like our own lil' apartment), i tried out for fiddler on the roof with shrunken heads here and got the lead! i'm excited...and apprehensive. i'll make it work... funky, considering i'm gonna be this older Jewish Russian husband/father guy. and then i'm also in another play, a Christmas one, written by a friend of mine. I'm gonna be the Grinch. it should be cool!
and now? now i'm jes' chillin'. halloween weekend is coming up. i have a midterm paper due next week and a midterm...but so far this quarter hasn't been that bad, my classes have been pretty chill... i think my mom is coming by this weekend... i haven't even been home yet! so yeahhh...well, thaz it.
